UFO Files Batch #2
Congress is receiving multiple UAP briefings, including one described as “intense,” “eye-opening” and “the hottest ticket in town.” Neil deGrasse Tyson drops his long-held dismissiveness towards the UFO community to write a book about alien contact. And the Pentagon dropped the second batch of UAP files, with videos showing instant acceleration and details about a possible UAP summoning event that Rep Burlison described as “very successful,” and the “one that no one could deny.”
Congressional Briefings
- Rep Eric Burlison: “Last night, we had about an hour and a half briefing with AARO where we saw about 30 UAP videos. Some of them are incredible. One of them is of an object that is flying at [probably 80mph], and suddenly just instantaneously… goes mach speed, it just takes off. It was one of those moments where everyone in the room gasped… The other video is of a Russian submarine that we’re filming and there are about three objects buzzing around this Russian sub."
- Rep. Tim Burchett: “I’ve been in a couple SCIF meetings here. I was in one today [on UAP] as a matter of fact… I was in one last week, and it was… pretty intense, and I’m hoping they’ll get some more to some more members.”
- Burchett: “A lot of members of Congress make fun of me, but they need to come down into the SCIF. I was just in one yesterday in one. There’s some pretty miraculous stuff.”
- Burchett: “Some of the members of Congress that are the biggest UFO people now were people that I brought in that were incredible skeptics. But when they went in the SCIF with me, when they were briefed, and they've seen the footage and talked to the pilots, then they have since changed their minds.”
- Burchett: “We have sworn testimony that there are recovered alien bodies. That is sworn testimony, under oath… and it’s come from so many different sources that we really need to get to the bottom of it… We’ve been briefed on locations of where some of this stuff is.”
- Rep. Burlison: “I was briefed on an event that occurred where they basically tried to set up a perfect case scenario that would cause UAP to come in and then to capture them or to try to document them or record them. And it was very successful. This only happened a few months ago and this is when the whole conversation changed, because that event was one that no one could deny. There were so many people that witnessed these things, and these were all credible people working in our top intelligence sector. They brought me in to brief me on this within a few days or weeks after this event happened… they knew that I was researching this topic.”
- Burlison: “Since then, that briefing is the one that everybody wants. The other members of Congress have heard about this. Leader Scalise, one of the briefing he got, he got the briefing along with a couple of other members. I had only told leader Scalise about this and now everybody wants this briefing.”
- House Majority Leader Steve Scalise: “We had a classified briefing that some of us went to. Obviously, you can’t talk about what was discussed at the briefing… Whenever you go to a briefing like that, there’s some things you see that are eye-opening, and that’s about as far as I’ll go.”
- Journalist Ross Coulthart: “I think the event that Rep Eric Burlison is talking about is something that I'm kind of aware of and yes it was something that he was given in a classified briefing. I haven't heard it from Eric Burlison, but I am aware of briefings that have been given to a number of members, including, the House Majority Leader Scalise, where, essentially they've been told that yes, the intelligence community has verified psionic summoning, inviting. That this talk of psychical abilities in the human mind to invite the phenomenon are true, are real.”
- Executive Director of the Disclosure Foundation Jordan Flowers: “The FBI has been taking their investigation of this topic extremely seriously. And we, as an organization, have been trying to get as many members of Congress as we can to go get the FBI briefing that has been described by other members as ‘the hottest ticket in town.’ Apparently going into this briefing has been transformative for many of the members that have been there.”
- Flowers: “The classified briefings recently that multiple representatives have seen [show] recent incursions on highly sensitive military facilities that unequivocally demonstrate a technology that is not ours, that we do not understand, and that we do not appear to be able to defend against.”
- Flowers: “It shows you how important it is to have the power of the presidency behind this initiative. This topic has been a priority at times, but prior to the president’s push on this, it might not have been a top ten priority. We understand that it is in the top three now, if not the top five of priorities.”
Burlison Investigations
- Journalist George Knapp: “Here in Nevada, I’ve been seeing these hints for a couple of days, that [a] VIP visitor was gonna [visit] Groom Lake [Area 51]. And apparently yesterday, I don’t know if Rep Burlison was with this VIP, but the VIP in question was supposedly [Director of National Intelligence] Tulsi Gabbard, who made a visit. Flew into Nellis, then took a little Janet plane, and then went to Groom Lake and came back and left Las Vegas yesterday. I don’t know. We’ve pressed Eric Burlison about which facilities he’ll be visiting on his national security tour. I don’t want to give anything away, but I hope he was in the plane, along with Tulsi Gabbard.”
- Rep Burlison: “If you really want to hide something from Congress, you don't put it in a government file cabinet. You hand it to a private contractor. That's why my investigation is following the trail into RAND, MITRE, Aerospace Corp, MIT Lincoln Labs, and the Northrop Grummans of the world.”
- The Hill: “[Federally Funded Research and Development Centers, or] FFRDCs are a special class of government contractors that work on long-term projects and have access to classified information, as well as proprietary information that for-profit contractors are legally barred from seeing… The MIT Lincoln Laboratory, along with others, including MITRE, RAND, IDA, the Aerospace Corporation, JPL and Sandia, was designed in the 1940s and 1950s to retain wartime scientific capability outside the civil service. That structure has led to a network of private nonprofits with classified access that ordinary contractors do not have and that also operate one legal step removed from the executive branch.”
- Rep Burlison: “I sent a letter to MIT Lincoln Labs asking for a classified 1952 briefing video referenced as a ‘flying saucer talk.’ Their attorneys wrote back fast. They'll comply within 30 days. Congressional letters carry weight. We're going to keep sending them.”
- Rep Burlison’s Letter: “I write concerning a reel-to-reel recording identified as ‘AF-ATIC-FILM, 03/52’ from the Beacon Hill Study, labeled ‘flying saucer talk,’ with Edward J. Ruppelt [the head of Project Blue Book] listed as the briefer. Based on the presently available description, this item appears to be a potentially significant historical record bearing directly on the federal government’s early handling of unidentified aerial- or anomalous phenomena-related matters.”
NDT’s Alien Book
- Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson has a new book out: Take Me to Your Leader: Perspectives on Your First Alien Encounter. “America’s favorite astrophysicist has written the most entertaining and universally appealing book of his stellar career: a practical guide for dealing with Alien visitors, an exploration of how it might happen, and a cultural history of our fascination with extraterrestrials.”
- Tyson, asked why he’s writing a book about aliens: “If you go back… a few decades ago… Most of the accounts of UFOs and alien abductions and things were people who didn't otherwise have title or integrity, that their station in life would grant them. There was the farmer in his back 40. There were drunken revelers at 2 a.m.staggering out of the bar… And beginning a few years ago… various whistleblowers and insiders… They're not farmers. They're not drunken revelers. And there's a parade of them, many of them… ex-military, ex-intelligence agency officers, and under oath, in front of Congress… So when these people of high rank started reporting, I said, ‘All right, I have to jump in here. I can't stay silent. I have to be a participant in what's going on’.”
- Astrophysicist Avi Loeb: “And then you have influencers, I call them the Kardashians of science. And I will not mention names, but… One of them just wrote a book about aliens. And if you check his resume, you will find out that over the past two decades, he didn't publish a single scientific paper. So he's not a practitioner of science. Yet he speaks with authority about science… And how do you tell the difference between an influencer and someone who practices science? By the fact that someone who practices science is sometimes going against the wind. Because sometimes you see anomalies, and you have to say something different than the rest of the community. That's how discoveries are made. Whereas the influencers always count how many likes they have. So this particular person wrote a book now about aliens because he recognizes that the subject is more popular… Five years ago he resisted my book Extraterrestrial, tried to suppress the message, and now he's taking ownership of the message just because it's becoming more popular. That's how you define an influencer.”
- Journalist Ross Coulthart: “It's good to see Neil deGrasse Tyson finally acknowledging there is indeed a truth behind the UFOs mystery. But it's important he acknowledges how, as a scientist, he has dismissed the possibility of an anomalous explanation for UFOs/UAPs for many years:”
- Tyson, 2017: “Call me when you have a dinner invite from an alien. The evidence is so paltry for aliens to visit Earth, I have no further interest.”
- Tyson, 2019: “My issue is what you are presenting as evidence in support of [alien visitation]. If it's entirely grounded in your eyewitness testimony… on the totem pole of weight of evidence it is at the bottom... So the best thing is to drag the alien into town square and you'll be rich and famous overnight... Where's all the video? Where are the images of you posing for selfies with the aliens?”
- Tyson, 2023: “Today, what I find is many people see things they don’t understand. A light in the sky that moves in a way they can’t predict or foresee, and they credit aliens. So for me, crediting things we don’t understand to aliens is the continuation of the 'God of the gaps.' But 'alien of the gaps' doesn’t have a resonance to it. So in my book, I’ve just introduced a new term: 'aliens of our ignorance.' So there’s something you don’t quite understand — aliens. There it is. And it becomes a very convenient way to account for mysteries.”
- Stanford Immunologist Garry Nolan: “Thank you for collecting these quotes. I look forward to Neil deGrasse Tyson ever addressing this. A simple ‘I'm sorry for how I ridiculed people and the subject, and I promise to donate any revenues I make from this book and public appearances on it to charities for helping people with the scorn and ridicule that I personally and publicly caused them’.”
- Producer Bryce Zabel: “What remains so irritating about Neil deGrasse Tyson's current ‘conversion’ is that he still can't help himself from stereotyping witnesses from the past as a ‘farmer in the back 40’ and ‘drunken revelers at 2am.’ This was not true when he was saying it then, and it's not true when he's saying it now. There have always been credible established observers. Hell, Kenneth Arnold was an experienced pilot who was very measured and specific about his 1947 observation. Has he read any of these thousands and thousands of cases? Even in the period where he's putting people down, there were pilots, police, military, doctors, lawyers, scientists, astronomers, etc. who saw these things.”
UFO Files Aftermath
- Rep Burlison: “From what I’ve been told, they plan to do a release every two weeks.”
- About one week after the initial release, Trump posted an AI-generated photo of him walking through a military base with a weirdly buff grey alien, who is maybe wearing manacles?
- Rep Burchett: “I think there’s gonna be some misinformation they’re gonna put out in this next group of files, intentionally, to screw us up… I think the cover-up continues. I believe the President and White House are having a hard time with a lot of our alphabet agencies.”
- Pentagon spokesperson Susan Gough, when asked whether AARO plans to release any formal analysis of the UAP files: “We are not providing any comment or assessment on the files overall or on any specific file, so that the American people can make up their own minds regarding the files.”
- Post Disclosure World: “The fact that the Pentagon doesn't want to provide its analysis means they don't want to be held accountable for whatever these UAP videos force us to accept. This release is much better than nothing. But if the Pentagon has information regarding these craft capabilities and how they compare to known technology, this should be explained. For example, after rigorous analysis, is there anything they find perplexing about any of these craft? This is limited transparency. They should be informing us, not just showing us.”
- Post Disclosure World: “Anyone in the government saying, regarding UFO data releases, ‘let the public decide for themselves’ is engaging in tradecraft against the American public. Letting the public decide for themselves is deception and manipulation—it’s not transparency. If you actually know we're not alone, and have data that proves it, you don't ‘let the public decide for themselves.’ You simply tell the truth to ensure the public doesn’t come to the wrong conclusion.”
- After Disclosure by Bryce Zabel and Richard Dolan: “Another form of False Disclosure would be to admit that whatever the sighting event was, it was certainly unusual, and that the government is just as curious as its citizens.”
- Rep Burlison: “I think what we're about to see is a memo come out that will be extremely aggressive towards this release. The reason is that you're not really going to know what you don't know, right? Rather than just go trying to chase ghosts throughout all these government agencies, the president is going to issue a memo that requires, with stiff penalties, the release of any and all information and files related to this topic so they can go about the declassification process.”
- Rep Burlison: “I know that there's more to come because the White House called me and said, ‘Hey, can you talk nice about this release of videos?’ And I said, ‘I don't even know what's in it. You guys have not engaged with us at all.’”
- Rep Burlison: “I'm probably spilling the tea here a little bit, but they said, ‘You're right. And we’re now at a point where we need you because… you’ve done the recon on this. We have content that we're still declassifying. But as far as where to take the investigation, who do you think we should talk to?’”
- Rep Burlison: “And I'm like, ‘You're really asking me who to go talk to? So I gave them a [list of people] that I’ve always wanted to [talk to but who] never really talked to me because they're all protected under their non-disclosure agreements. And so I said, 'But you’ve got to bring me in because I've been doing all of this work and with no recognition. And so if now things are getting real and real disclosure is going to happen, I deserve to be a part of this.’"
UFO Files Batch 2
- Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell: “Today, the Department of War is publishing the second release of declassified and historical Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena files. Since the site’s launch on May 8, 2026, WAR.GOV/UFO has received over 1 billion hits worldwide, highlighting the unprecedented levels of interest in both this topic and the Trump administration’s historic transparency effort. The Department of War and our agency partners are actively working on the third release of UAP files, which will be announced in the near future.”
- Disclosure Foundation: “The government released a second batch of UAP files this morning, and the material is substantially more revealing than what came before. It includes fifty military videos, a senior intelligence officer's firsthand account of an hour-long encounter, and imagery captured at a nuclear weapons facility. Three agencies appear for the first time. The first release drew from the Department of War, FBI, NASA, and the State Department. This second release brings the CIA, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and the Department of Energy into the public record, extending the documented trail from conventional military sightings into the intelligence community and the nuclear weapons complex.”
- Disclosure Foundation: “Across both [batches], a consistent pattern emerges: Descriptions of objects exhibiting what witnesses and sensors characterize as instant acceleration, transmedium movement, and geometric formation; A persistent connection to nuclear weapons infrastructure, from 1948 to the present; Encounters involving senior officials, fifth-generation aircraft, submarines, and coast guard platforms; Corroboration across multiple sensor types simultaneously; A Congressional request matched nearly 1:1 with a public release;”
- Disclosure Foundation: “On March 31, 2026, the House Task Force on Declassification of Federal Secrets sent a letter to Secretary Hegseth requesting 46 specific UAP videos by name — videos that whistleblowers had informed Congress were held by AARO. Of those 46, at least 44 appear in Release 02. Two items (both from 17 October 2020) are unaccounted for. The video records span 2017 to 2024 and include footage from Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, the Persian Gulf, East China Sea, Lake Huron, the East Coast, and Columbus, Ohio.”
- “DOW-UAP-PR071: An Air National Guard F-16C shoots down a UAP over Lake Huron (Feb 12, 2023)”
- Joe Murgia: “We used an ultra-expensive missile to bring down another balloon?”
- “DOW-UAP-PR067: Multiple spherical UAP going in and out of water near a submarine”
- “DOW-UAP-PR051: ‘Syrian UAP instant acceleration’”

- “DOW-UAP-PR071: An Air National Guard F-16C shoots down a UAP over Lake Huron (Feb 12, 2023)”
- Disclosure Foundation: “UAP documented at America's most sensitive nuclear facilities — across 76 years. Three Department of Energy documents establish a direct connection between UAP and nuclear weapons sites:”
- “Pantex Plant (DOE-UAP-D001): Radar and Sandia National Labs-enhanced images of an unidentified object at the nation's primary nuclear warhead assembly facility.
- Sandia Base, 1948–1950 (DOW-UAP-D017): 116 pages of formerly SECRET correspondence documenting green fireballs over nuclear weapons storage sites. Scientists concluded the objects were not conventional meteorites based on anomalous copper particle composition.
- “Page 90 has verbatim minutes from a Feb 16, 1949 conference at Los Alamos where Edward Teller does a back-of-envelope mass-and-shock-wave calculation in front of Norris Bradbury, Frederick Reines, John Manley, Marshall Holloway, and Lincoln La Paz. Captain Neef tells the room it's classified SECRET under the codename Project Grudge.”
- Los Alamos, 1986 (DOE-UAP-D003): A weapons lab physicist presented ‘Why Should a Scientist be Concerned about UFO's?’ to colleagues at the nuclear weapons laboratory.”
- Disclosure Foundation: “A senior U.S. intelligence officer describes an hour-long UAP encounter. The ODNI narrative (ODNI-UAP-D001) is a two-page firsthand account from late 2025. A senior intelligence official, two pilots, and ground teams encountered multiple UAP on a military test range over the course of more than an hour.”
- “An object approached within 10 feet of the helicopter, split in two, and accelerated beyond pursuit speed. Ground teams observed the object on FLIR and described it as ‘super-hot.’ ‘Countless orange orbs swarming in all directions’ against a mountain backdrop. Orbs formed geometric patterns — a T-formation and a triangle. The same orbs appeared directly above fighter jets, matching their speed and flight path. Radar, FLIR, night vision, and naked-eye observations all corroborated simultaneously.”
- Pairs with 24 FBI photos already in the archive of the same incident.
- Rep Burlison: “IMHO this is the most important record released today. Also, this is the event that I was personally briefed on by the senior intelligence official who experienced this shortly after it happened. I have asked if I can attend the next exercise just in case this phenomenon shows up again.”
